Agatha was born Feb. 24, 1917, to John G. and Julia (Imoehl) Reifenrath, in St. James. She married John J. Goeden Aug. 16, 1945, in St. James. He died Oct. 2, 1992. Agatha grew up in the St. James area and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1936. She received her normal teaching certificate and taught in the St. James area until 1945. After her marriage, they farmed in the Menominee area. She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of America, Cedar-Knox Good Neighbors, Ladies Guild and the Birthday Club. Survivors include seven children and their spouses: Beverly and Donavon Guenther, Crofton; Harold and Carol Goeden, Wells, Minn.; LeRoy and Marcia Goeden, Sargent Bluff, Iowa; Darlene and Daniel Hayford, Blaine, Minn.; Jeanette and Stanley Kneifl, Ponca; Dorothy and Dallas Hochstein, Hartington; Joseph Goeden, Bloomfield; 40 grandchildren; one great grand-daughter; three sisters: Sister M. Aelreda Reifenrath O.S.B., Yankton, S.D.; Beatrice Walter, Aurora, Ill.; Angela Gubbels, Randolph; two brothers: a twin brother, Alphons Reifenrath, St. James; Joseph Reifenrath, Hartington. She was preceded in death by her husband; and four sisters, Mary Gerleman, Lavina Reifenrath, Rosalia Wieseler, and Barbara Wieseler.
