Read More	AUDREY CHRUDIMSKY, 7, SUCCUMBS IN HOSPITAL Audrey Chrudimsky, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Chrudimsky, three miles northeast of Clutier, died early Wednesday morning in the St. Francis hospital at Waterloo. She had been ill for ten days with a streptococcic infection and had been in the hospital six days. Her death resulted from throat hemorrhages and came after it was thought that she had passed through the crisis of her illness. Her passing is made doubly tragic by the fact that the Chrudimsky home is under quarantine of scarlet fever, a brother of Audrey being ill with that disease. A sister, third child in the family and a twin brother also is in quarantine, along with Mrs. L. V, Kuchynka, mother of William Chrudimsky and Mrs. Lester Chrudimsky of Clutier. The bereaved parents themselves escaped the quarantine because they were in Waterloo when the boy became ill. Funeral services for Audrey will be held this morning at 9o’clockat the Lester Chrudimsky home and at 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception church. The Rev. Father Thomas Vopatek will be in charge. Burial will be in St. Vaclav cemetery. Mrs. F. J. Stodola, of Clutier, was caring for Audrey until shortly before her death, returning home when it was believed the girl was on the road to recovery. Mrs. Stodola declares that in her long nursing career, she has never had another patient who bore a critical illness so bravely and cheerfully. Everything that medical skill could do was done in an attempt to save the life of the child, who won the hearts of all in the hospital with her sweetness and courage.
