Miss Dailey came to Montana with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dailey, from Benson, Minn., and settled on a ranch near Kibbey in Aug. 1903. Soon after reaching here the girl began to be nervous and to show symptoms of heart trouble. She came to this city for medical treatment and after spending a short time at Columbus hospital, she seemed so much improved that she returned to her home. She soon found, however, and her physician told her, that the altitude in Montana and of Kibbey in particular, was too great for her, as she soon began to fail again. She went to North Dakota and spent the winter of 1903-1904 with relatives there and, though time passed pleasantly, she did not return home benefited, as it was hoped she would be. Finally in June of last year she was again obliged to return to Great Falls in quest of medical aid, and though she was attended by some of the best physicians in the city, she seemed to receive no material benefit. Last November, she was taken to Seattle, in the hope that mild climate and low altitude might do her some good; but she was brought back home about Christmas, in worse condition than when she went away, and from that time failed gradually until the end came at 11:30 p.m., January 31. Miss Dailey was a lady of fine attainments and charming disposition, and won the friendship of all with whom she became acquainted. She was a member and officer of the R.N.A. of her old home town, and her father is a member of the M.W.A. and K.O.T.M. of the same place. Her untimely death is a sad blow to her family. She is survived by her parents, three sisters and two brothers, she being the oldest of the children. At 2 o'clock this afternoon the body will be moved from the family home to St. Ann's cathedral, where services will be held, and interment will be made in Calvary.
