Daniel Andrews will be celebrant. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church under direction of Home for Funerals. Mrs. Reisbig died Monday, July 26, 2010, at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Care Center. ——— Agnes was born on the family farm near Battle Creek on Dec. 17, 1906, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Finkral) Sobotka. She was raised on the farm and attended rural school before graduating from Battle Creek High School. On Sept. 18, 1933, Agnes married Lorenz G. Reisbig. Her husband was affiliated with the Safeway Grocery Stores. They lived in Omaha and Wayne before returning to Norfolk where they owned and operated the Super Duper Grocery Store. Agnes loved to cook. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, dancing, playing cards and shopping. However, her passion was spending time with her family. She particularly enjoyed her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, participating in the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters. Agnes is survived by her son, David and his wife, Janet of Omaha, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters.
