Description	:	Agnes Christina Drudik, the daughter of Alois and Anna (Dozbaba) Mazour, was born on November 30, 1914 on a farm near Lawrence, Nebraska. She passed away on February 9, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 96 years, 2 months and 9 days. Read More	Agnes Christina Drudik, the daughter of Alois and Anna (Dozbaba) Mazour, was born on November 30, 1914 on a farm near Lawrence, Nebraska. She passed away on February 9, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 96 years, 2 months and 9 days. Agnes was the youngest in a family of eight, having five brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1932. Agnes then became a teacher at a country school east of Lawrence. While teaching there she met the love of her life, Frank Drudik. They were married on June 16, 1936 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrence, Nebraska. This union was blessed with three girls and one boy. Together they endured the hard life of the depression to provide for their family. Agnes was a true farmer's wife and spent everyday at Frank's side in the fields and doing chores. She was a master baker and her family always enjoyed her rye bread, rholicky, and cherry kolache. In 1991 they moved to Nelson, Nebraska and Agnes continued her love of the soil growing vegetables in the garden and winning community awards for the flowers in her yard. One of her favorite pastimes was driving in the country checking out the farm crops. In her later years she enjoyed quilting and made one for every child and grandchild. Agnes will always be remembered for her straw hats that she wore in the fields and garden, her great sense of humor and her smile. Agnes was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Nelson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 60 years; five brothers: Joseph, Boshlav, Thomas and Louis Mazour and two sisters: Rose Nejezchleb and Ludmilla Karmazin. Survivors include her son, Robert Drudik and wife Marcia of Nelson, Nebraska; daughters, Margaret Wrage and husband John of Cozad, Nebraska; Ellen Buresh and husband Mike of Davenport, Nebraska; and Loretta Lane and husband Tim of Markesan, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson Cooper Thomas Haines; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
