Mrs. Agnes Christine Cummings, who was also a leader in the Girls Club, died Wednesday in Lacombe Nursing Home. She was 81. Mrs. Cummings was born Oct. 7, 1891, in Starbuck, Minn., coming to Alberta with her family in 1907. She married George Cummings in 1914 and they settled eight miles north of Bentley. She later stayed for a time with her sister in Lacombe, three years in Rimbey and then three years in Edmonton, before being admitted to the Lacombe Nursing Home. Mrs. Cummings was predeceased by her husband in 1945 and a daughter, Mrs. Victor Rimbey, in 1968. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Peter Kozak; a son, Charles in Edmonton; one sister, Mrs. Clara Harstad of Lacombe, 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Rev. R. E. Hetherington officiated at services from the Bentley United Church and burial followed in the Bentley cemetery.
