Description	:	Eleonore Agnes Deubler(changed her name), daughter of Rev. Conrad and Emilie Stutheit Deubler, was born Oct. 9, 1888 at Zion Lutheran parsonage north of Johnson, NE. One of 10 children, she was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church by her father. Nora received her education at the Johnson Public Schools. In addition to being a homemaker , Nora was a clerk for many years in grocery stores in Johnson. An active lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, she was organist for 25 years and also sang in the choir. Nora was a member... Read More	Eleonore Agnes Deubler(changed her name), daughter of Rev. Conrad and Emilie Stutheit Deubler, was born Oct. 9, 1888 at Zion Lutheran parsonage north of Johnson, NE. One of 10 children, she was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church by her father. Nora received her education at the Johnson Public Schools. In addition to being a homemaker , Nora was a clerk for many years in grocery stores in Johnson. An active lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, she was organist for 25 years and also sang in the choir. Nora was a member of Johnson Woman's Club. In retirement, Nora remained active and lived with her sister, Emma Deubler in Johnson until March 28, 1991 when she sustained a hip injury and was admitted to the hospital in Auburn She was transferred to Lincoln General Hospital, and later returned to Nemaha County Hospital. May 7, 1991 Nora died at the Nemaha County Hospital, having reached the age of 102 years, six months and 28 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are 2 sisters, Emma Deubler and Ottilie Lorenz, both of Johnson; one brother, Gerhard Deubler of Wichita, KS. other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services were held May 10 at Zion Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. John Keller. Nephews serving as pallbearers were Richard Fruehling, Walter Fruehling, Arvin Deubler, Maurice Deubler, Milton Lorenz and Quentin Lorenz. Gertrude Rosenbohm was organist. Burial was in the church cemetery.
