Description	:	Mrs. Agnes L. Poeppe, 82, of 521 E. Anthony St., died in her home late Sunday morning, Jan. 30 {1977]. Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home of Carroll after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rosaries will be held at 2:30 p.m. by the Legion of Mary and at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Mass of the resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Holy Spirit Church with the Rev. At the age of four her family moved to Greene County. Mrs. Poeppe attended the Mount Carmel Schools. Her parents farmed two and a half miles northeast of Mount Carmel. She was united in marriage to George N. Poeppe at Our Lady of Mont Carmel Church by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. F.H. Huesmann on Feb. 16, 1916. Mrs. Poeppe was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Holy Spirit Guild. She had resided at her present home for eight years. She is survived by: two sons, Ambrose A. of Clarkston, Mich., and Eugene J. of Carroll; a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph (Irene) Meyers of Carroll; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
