Anderson and Emma Nelson born Jan. 2, 1913, in Kittson County near Hill City, Minn. In 1923, the family moved to Hatton, N.D. Agnes went to school there and was confirmed in the Norwegian language. Read More	Cellan, Agnes Louise Anderson MISSOULA - Agnes Louise Anderson Cellan, 93, passed away July 8, 2006, in Missoula with her children at her side. She was the daughter of Anton O. Anderson and Emma Nelson born Jan. 2, 1913, in Kittson County near Hill City, Minn. In 1923, the family moved to Hatton, N.D. Agnes went to school there and was confirmed in the Norwegian language. She graduated from nurses' training at Grand Forks Deaconess Hospital in June 1936. Agnes went to Casper, Wyo., and worked at Memorial Hospital. On Dec. 25, 1936, Agnes married Guile Stanley Cellan in Casper. In 1949, they moved to Billings and built their home. Agnes worked at Billings Deaconess Hospital for 27 years, the majority of which were as Supervisor of Obstetrics. Agnes loved her family, crocheting, sewing, knitting, gardening and her African violets. A product of her environment, she was frugal, deeply religious and hardworking. Agnes was preceded in death by Guile (1974), one daughter, Helen Elaine (1942), her parents, four brothers and one granddaughter, Shannon Rae DonTigny (1968). She is survived by one daughter, Pat (Jerry) DonTigny of Missoula, one son, David (Franci) Cellan of Billings; three grandsons, Tom DonTigny, Jared and Travis Cellan. Agnes is also survived by two great-grandchildren, LeAnn and Tyrol DonTigny, and one nephew, Richard Anderson. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Cremation or Funeral Gallery. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at American Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Tostengard officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mountview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cremation or Funeral Gallery. Published in the Billings Gazette on 7/11/2006.
