Description	:	Agnes Lucy Rotherham was born on March 30, 1906 in Clearwater Nebraska and was the sixth child born to James and Lucy (McCarthy) Rotherham. She grew up on the family farm, attending school in rural Clearwater. Agnes married Albin Thramer on August 10, 1926 at St John`s Church in Clearwater Nebraska and to their union were born six children: James, Max, Gregory, Lucy, Albin Eugene and Mary. Read More	Agnes Lucy Rotherham was born on March 30, 1906 in Clearwater Nebraska and was the sixth child born to James and Lucy (McCarthy) Rotherham. She grew up on the family farm, attending school in rural Clearwater. Agnes married Albin Thramer on August 10, 1926 at St John`s Church in Clearwater Nebraska and to their union were born six children: James, Max, Gregory, Lucy, Albin Eugene and Mary. She spent the next three decades helping Albin raise the children and work on the farm. In 1960 she and Albin decided to retire from farming and made the move to Norfolk to be closer to the kids and grandkids. Life was good for awhile but she became ill in 1963 and was hospitalized for what they thought was hardening of the arteries, but was later diagnosed as Alzheimers Disease. Albin continued to look after her at home until 1969 when his own health started to fail, so she was placed in a care facility in Norfolk. Agnes passed away on August 17th 1976, just seven days after their 50th wedding anniversary, and is buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk Nebraska.
