Description	:	Agnes Mae “Tudie” Folk Belongea, 84, of Sioux City died Monday, June 24, 1996, at Matney Westside Manor. Services will be 7 p.m. today at Berkemier Funeral Home, with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Riverside United Methodist Church officiating. The body will be cremated following services, with inurnment at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Belongea, the former Agnes Mae Fricken, was born Dec. 25, 1911, in Emerson, Neb., the daughter of Edward and Hattie (Asmann) Fricken. She moved to Sioux City with her family as a child, and graduated from Central High School. She married William Folk April 4, 1937, in Sioux City, where the couple then made their home. He died June 8, 1964. She married Clifford Belongea on Jan. 22, 1966, in Sioux City. He died Aug. 6, 1975. Mrs. Belongea worked as a cook at St. Vincent Hospital for a number of years and later at Riverside High School until her retirement. Mrs. Belongea was a member of The Church of All Nations. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Joan and Bill Hodgins of Sioux City; three grandchildren (redacted); and two great-grandchildren. The Sioux City Journal, June 26, 1996
