Funeral services were held in the Catholic church in Masonville, last Friday forenoon, and interment, was made in the Catholic cemetery at Masonville. Rev. Father Lonergan conducted the funeral services. Deceased was born February 3, 1885, and was 29 years, 11 months and 17 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage with Arthur Keenan on February 25, 1908, and to this union four children were born, the youngest a baby only three weeks old. The family had been making their home at Waterloo for some time, and had only a few weeks ago come to Masonville, planning to go onto their farm south of Masonville about March 1st. Mrs. Keenan was a young woman who was beloved by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She had the happy faculty of looking on the bright side of life, and all those who associated with her were greatly benefited by her cheerful nature. Her chief interest in life was centered in her home and her little children. The sorrow that comes to the home where the mother is taken away at a time when she is needed, cannot be expressed in words. The heartfelt sympathy is extended to Mr. Keenan, and all those who were attached to the young wife and mother by reason of family ties in this hour of deep sorrow.
