Rev A C Thompson officiated. Mrs Knatz died at the home of her mother on Monday at 1:15 from asthma. Mr Knatz had been a successful businessman in Phillipsburg, Montana, but owing to the climate there, his wife had to make frequent trips to Maryland in order to recuperate.... Mrs Knatz's last trip here was made on the 15th and since that time her health constantly declined. The sad news of his wife's death was conveyed to Mr Knatz by telegram immediately and he wired back that he would start for Lonaconing immediately and requested the funeral should not take place until his arrival here. Mrs Knatz leaves four children, besides her husband, Harry, 16; Jessie, 11; Elizabeth 12 and Loretta 10. She is also survived by her aged mother, six brother and three sisters, all of this place.
