Description	:	Agnes Mozelle Collins Chappell, 90, of Sunset, S.C., died Saturday, March 21, 2009. Mrs. Chappell was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Sam and Ophelia Gilstrap Collins. She was retired from Alice Manufacturing Company in Easley and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Carl Chappell (Carol) of Pickens; daughter, Ruby Smith of Sunset; and brother, Reverend Lester Collins (Ruth) of Easley. Mrs. Chappell was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Sam and Ophelia Gilstrap Collins. She was retired from Alice Manufacturing Company in Easley and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Carl Chappell (Carol) of Pickens; daughter, Ruby Smith of Sunset; and brother, Reverend Lester Collins (Ruth) of Easley. Grandchildren include Cindy Finley (Jeff) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kristi Davis of Sunset, and David Chappell (Delane) and Kem Holliday, both of Pickens. Great-grandchildren include Lindsey Davis and Joseph Davis of Sunset, Lauren Holliday and Emily Chappell, both of Pickens, Michael Finley, Matthew Finley, and Annie Finley, all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Davis of Sunset. In addition to her husband, Ernest Chappell, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darris Collins; and a sister, Alma Owens. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, with the Reverend Barry Pace and Reverend H.C. Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at Dillard Funeral Home, Pickens. The staff of Rosemond Living Center will serve as Escort of Honor. We would like to thank Bud and Gert Stancell for their daily visits and for everything they did for Mrs. Chappell. We would also like to thank Tim and Pam Smith and their son Samuel for their visits and chats on her front porch. Our special thanks to Rosemond Living Center and staff for their love and compassion.
