'''''''''' The Schuyler Sun (Schuyler, Nebr.), June 28, 1928, p. 5, col. 5 EARLY SETTLER OF ABIE VICINITY ANSWERS CALL Mrs. Agnes Palensky, since 1875 a resident of the Abie vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Ostry, near Rescue, on Monday after a lingering illness. The deceased was born In Bohemia and came to that state with her parents, who were early settlers in the vicinity east of Abie. She is survived by four children, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Ostry, and three sons, Cyril, Charles and Joseph, all of the Rescue community. Funeral services were conducted from the SS. Peter and Paul’s church, Abie, with Rev. Bower of Bruno officiating.
