She was 79. A Memorial Service will be Monday, August 10th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Agnes was born May 31, 1930 in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania to Dean and Eva (Braum) Reed. She grew up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from the East Elizabeth High School. While attending a wedding for mutual friends she met D. John Henry, an Endicott native, who was serving in the military at the time. Following a short courtship, the couple married December 31, 1955 in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania. They moved to Pullman, Washington where John completed his degree at WSU. John and Agnes farmed near Endicott for a short time, moved to Wenatchee and later Pasco before settling in Colfax in 1963. Agnes was the office manager at the Colfax Security Office for over 19 years before retiring. She loved to play golf and was the treasurer for the ladies golf club for many years. She also liked playing cards. She spent many summers at their lake home on Hayden Lake and liked to travel, especially to England to spend time with family. She was a member of PEO and attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, John, at their Colfax home; two sons, Scott and Jenny Henry of Tettenhall England and Todd and Irina Henry of Missoula, MT.; 4 grandchildren; a brother, L.V. Reed of Florida and 2 sisters, Eva Russell and Dorothy Moore both of the Pittsburgh area. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters. Memorial gifts are suggested to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Shriner's Hospital or to Friends of Hospice.
