Description	:	Mrs. Agnes Row Shomo, 94, a resident of Junior and more recently a resident of The Valentine's Personal Care Home of Elkins, departed this life at 1:45 am Sunday, April 30, 2006, at the care facility. She was born September, 14, 1911, at Junor, a daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Row and Lovie Burkhammer Row. On August 29, 1931, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Clay Shomo, who preceded her in death March 8, 1979. On August 29, 1931, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Clay Shomo, who preceded her in death March 8, 1979. Mrs. Shomo is survived by four daughters, Louise Payne and husband, Cal, of Silver Spring, Maryland, Beverly Lievisse Adriaanse of Elkins, Debbie Day and husband, David of Parkersburg and Judy Poe and Husband, Don, of Arthurdale, two sisters, Ruth Weingarten of Nevada and Joy Williams of Morgantown; one brother, Ray Row and wife, Joan, of Martinsburg; and one brother-in-law, Kingsley Crowe of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Donald Stuart Shomo; one son-in-law, Jaap Lievisse Adriaanse; three sisters, Pauline Fitzwater, Nettie Steerman and Joanne Crowe, and one brother, Charles Thomas Row. She attended the schools of Barbour County and the West Virginia Business College at Clarksburg. She was a homemaker, an avid quilter, worked as volunteer for the Heart and Hand Ministries, and a longtime member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Junior. Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home in Belington today from 6 pm to 9 pm and again on Tuesday until 2 pm, the funeral hour when rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Doyle Neil Rider officiating. Interment will follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Junior. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Hospice Care, 929 Davis Ave, Elkins, WV 26241. Talbott Funeral Home of Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Agnes Row Shomo.
