Read More	MO resident died out-of-state Agrippa's mother's name was Nancy Abbott, dau. of Reuben Abbott & Rachel S(h)elby. ------------ AGRIPPA WESTBROOK Agrippa Westbrook, son of Alex and Nancy Westbrook, was born in Schuyler County, near Lancaster, Missouri, Oct. 12, 1869, and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred (Gwendolyn) Johnson, in Bloomfield, Iowa on Nov. 13, 1952, at the age of 83 years, one month and one day. Grip, as he was known to his friends and the people of Lancaster, spent his entire life in and around Lancaster. He was united in marriage on March 10, 1890 to Laura E. Mills, who preceded him in death on Nov. 5, 1938. To this union were born eight children, three having preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret, now Mrs. Truman Aleshire, and Gwendolyn, now Mrs. Fred Johnson; three sons, Birney, Ray and Price of Lancaster; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He also leaves one half brother. Grip had been in failing health for the past year, and in July 1952, he underwent an operation at the Bloomfield hospital, from which he never entirely recovered, and was quickly taken away despite all that loving hands could do for him. He confessed his faith in Christ in the presence of Rev. Fred Sawyer, minister of the Christian Church in Bloomfield, Ia. The body lay in state at the Norman Funeral Home until time of services. Funeral services were held in Lancaster, at the Christian church Nov. 16, 1952, at two o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Fred Sawyer, and the body was laid to rest in the Lancaster I.O.O.F. cemetery by the side of his loved ones. Music was furnished by Mesdames Hazel Melvin and Margaret Silvey, with Mrs. Olga Sommers at the piano. EXCELSIOR CONSOLIDATED Lancaster,Missouri December 6, 1934
