Description	:	Almeda Moore passed away at Roundup Memorial Hospital on Dec. 5, 2013. She was born 10 miles north of Roundup on the family ranch on Dec. 20, 1926, to August and Ida Adolph. She attended Hathaway Country School and moved into town to attend Roundup High School where she graduated in 1943. Almeda furthered her education at Kinman Business University in Spokane, Wash. In 1948, Almeda married Earl Anderson and they had five children: twins Jim and Janie, Ron, Jerry and Peggy. Earl passed away in 1964. In 1948, Almeda married Earl Anderson and they had five children: twins Jim and Janie, Ron, Jerry and Peggy. Earl passed away in 1964. Almeda married Walt Moore in 1970, and they owned and operated The Insurance Center. Walt passed away in 1990. Almeda was an aide for the fifth and sixth grade band students at Central School. She was active in the Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Republican Committee. She enjoyed meeting and greeting people and serving on many different boards during her many years as Mayor of Roundup. In 2002, she was awarded the RHS Distinguished Alumni Award. Almeda was preceded in death by both husbands; daughter, Janie Charlton; brother, Wesley Adolph; and sisters, Delores Rose and Adeline Bohlman. She is survived by her children, Jim (Dolly) Anderson, Ron (Maria) Anderson, Jerry (Lindy) Anderson, Peggy (Tim) Johnson; son-in law, Gordon Charlton; sister, Darlene (Gordon) Kilby; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank home care givers Krissy Newman, Wanda Stevens and their helpers. Also, thanks to Vickie Goodwin and Roundup Memorial Healthcare and Hospital. The funeral service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Roundup at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. A luncheon provided by the Methodist Women will follow the service. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings. Wier Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be offered to RSVP, 315 Main St., Roundup, MT 59072, or a charity of choice.
