Edwards died at the family home 1 1-2 miles west of Marion on the old Marion road, Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock at the age of 13 months age 15 days. He was taken sick with influenza which developed into pneumonia. He leaves to mourn his loss, his parents and one brother age 4 1-2 years; also a grandmother, Sarah E. Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were former residents of this city. Thursday October 24, 1918 The Marion Weekly Sentinel Albert B. Edwards, the little fourteen months son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert O. Edwards, died Tuesday afternoon of pneumonia, following influenza. The parents and a brother, Lloyd, four and one-half years of age, survive and have the sympathy of the community in the loss of this dear little babe. The Edwards family reside about two miles northeast of Marion, on the old Marion road, but were formerly of Cedar Rapids. Services were conducted by the Rev. M.R. Drury of the United Brethern church of Cedar Rapids, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
