Description	:	Albert C. Nickell, son of Andrew and Mary Ann Nickell, was born Nov. 29, 1874 and passed away October 1, 1959 at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 2 days. He had been at the home of his oldest daughter, Mary Bell Keeton at Eagle Grove since Sept. 13th where he received the best of loving care through his last illness. Nickell, son of Andrew and Mary Ann Nickell, was born Nov. 29, 1874 and passed away October 1, 1959 at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 2 days. He had been at the home of his oldest daughter, Mary Bell Keeton at Eagle Grove since Sept. 13th where he received the best of loving care through his last illness. Mr. Nickell was born in a farm 2 1/2 miles east of Lineville, Iowa. At the age of 3 he moved with his parents to a nearby farm where he lived until 1955 at which time the house was destroyed by fire. After that he made his home with his children at various places. On March 30, 1905 he was married to Lulu Mae Jones at Lineville. To this union ten children were born. Surviving are his children, Earl of Russell, A. C. of Corydon, Calvin of Clio, Paul of Allerton, Lewis of Eagle Grove, Gilbert of LeRoy, Minn., Mrs John (Mary) Keeton of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Ralph (Ester) Wilder of Clio, Mrs. Clarence (Iola) Mulvania of LeClaire and Mrs. DeWayne (Pauline) Waldron of Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Hayes of Lineville, thirty-five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Nickell was a great believer in the Bible, having read it fourteen times, and practiced his religion in everyday living. He was greatly respected by his family and friends and lvoed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will indeed be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church of Lineville at 2:00 p.m. October 3 conducted by the Rev. J. C. Hook fo Corydon. Pallbearers were grandsons, Carroll Wilder, Allan, Gary and Raymond Nickell, Roger Gaylord and Larry Howard. Flower girls were granddaughters, Marilyn Nickell, Virginia Gaylord, Karen Howard, Iola Ferrel, Dianna Nickell, Judith Nickell and Shirley Mulvania.
