C. Grady, who resides on the Ld. Dierks farm a few miles northeast of Lake Park died very suddenly. He had been in town Saturday afternoon in apparently as good health as ever, and retired that way Saturday night. About two o'clock his wife was awakened by his tossing about in the bed, throwing his covers off the bed and himself finally falling to the floor. The thoroughly frightened woman got him back in bed and did what she could and also summoned a doctor who arrived at the house about an hour after Mrs. Grady was awakened, and her husband died just as the physician was entering the house. Some phase of heart trouble is thought to have caused his death although some think it was either something he ate or had drank. His sudden death was not only a great shock to his family but also to his friends. The Lake Park News, Jan. 8, 1920 Submitted by: Keith Justus ------------ Obituary of Charles Grady Albert Charles Grady was born at Viola Center, Audubon county, Iowa, September 20, 1881, and passed away January 4th, 1920, aged 28 years, 3 months and 4 days. He moved with his parents from Audubin county in 1900 to Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and in 1902 moved to Oscola county where he has spent the greater part of his life. On June 15, 1910 he was married to Margaret E. Baker. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and 4 children, father and mother, his brothers Ray L. and William C. and his sister, P. W.
