Description	:	Albert Christmann, 84, Hazen, died peacefully on March 30, 2016 at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Albert was born on the family ranch west of Hazen, ND on August 27, 1931, the eleventh of twelve children of William and Theresa (Hintz) Christmann. He was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran. Albert was raised on the ranch and educated at the country school west of Hazen. On April 4, 1954 he married his loving bride of 52 years, Mardella Herrmann at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Zap. Read More	Albert Christmann, 84, Hazen, died peacefully on March 30, 2016 at the Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Albert was born on the family ranch west of Hazen, ND on August 27, 1931, the eleventh of twelve children of William and Theresa (Hintz) Christmann. He was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran. Albert was raised on the ranch and educated at the country school west of Hazen. On April 4, 1954 he married his loving bride of 52 years, Mardella Herrmann at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Zap. Together, they ranched west of Hazen their entire married life. Mardella passed away December 28, 2006, leaving Albert permanently broken-hearted. Caring for his family, his land, and his livestock were Albert’s true passions. Beyond those priorities, he enjoyed deer hunting and twirling Mardella around the dance floor to a good, old-time waltz. He was also a proud member of the Republican Party and the Nat’l. Rifle Assoc. Albert is survived by his two sons Rodney (Cathy) and Randy (Bethanie) and his daughter Lois Dietzler (Bob Hayden), 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his sister RoseMary, and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents, 7 sisters, 3 brothers, and Mardella’s 5 siblings and their spouses. Barbot Funeral Home
