His family will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, at the Spencer Community Center and there will be a family graveside service with military rites at 4:00 p.m. at the Spencer Cemetery. Albert Dorale was born on May 2, 1927 to Benjamin and Marie (Lauck) Dorale near Bridgewater. He grew up in the Spencer area and attended country school there. Read More	Albert Dorale, 81, passed away on November 1, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Salem. Albert Dorale was born on May 2, 1927 to Benjamin and Marie (Lauck) Dorale near Bridgewater. He grew up in the Spencer area and attended country school there. From 1946 to 1947, he went overseas to serve his country in the U.S. Army. On January 18, 1955, Albert married Virginia Roth in Clayton, SD. They farmed in the Spencer area all their lives. Albert always enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid card player. Albert is survived by five sons, LeRoy of Tea, Terry of Cody, WY, Rod of Aberdeen, Randy (Lynn) of Mitchell and DelRay (Kathy) of Dell Rapids; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Jean) of Okachobee, FL; three sisters, Myrtle Terveen of Bridgewater, Esther (Melvin) Meinen of Mitchell and LaVonne (Harold) Zelmer of Bridgewater; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Peggy; two brothers, LeRoy and Walter; and one sister, Mabel Jacobson.
