He enjoyed flying RC Airplanes and was a Co-Founder of the Jasper RC Flyers Club. He also enjoyed watching auto racing. One Sister; Mary Ann Huls, Jasper, IN Two Brothers; Dave Ernst and wife Linda, Jasper, IN Fred Ernst and wife Charlotte, Jasper, IN Preceding him in death was his wife Anna Mae Boeglin Funeral services for Al Boeglin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (December 12, 2015) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The VFW Post #673 will conduct military gravesite rites. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Saturday (December 12, 2015) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Sacred Heart or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
