Description	:	Albert Henry Wiese, son of Henry N. Wiese and Sophia Zimmermann, was born at Omaha, August 10, 1902. On September 15, 1939 he married Laura Pohlmann. To this union, one son and one daughter, both living, were born. He came with his parents to Seward early in his life and remained until 1931, when he went to live in Denver. Here he worked as a radio operator. For a number of years he served as a member of the Merchant Marine. He then went to St. Louis, Mo. where he served as chief engineer of Station KFUO for 18 years. At... Read More	Albert Henry Wiese, son of Henry N. Wiese and Sophia Zimmermann, was born at Omaha, August 10, 1902. On September 15, 1939 he married Laura Pohlmann. To this union, one son and one daughter, both living, were born. He came with his parents to Seward early in his life and remained until 1931, when he went to live in Denver. Here he worked as a radio operator. For a number of years he served as a member of the Merchant Marine. He then went to St. Louis, Mo. where he served as chief engineer of Station KFUO for 18 years. At the time of his death he was the owner of a radio station in Aitkin, Minn. He died Tuesday, June 4, 1968, as a result of unsuccessful open heart surgery. He attained the age of 65 years, 9 months and 24 days. Survivors include: his wife, Laura, Deerwood, Minn; a son Ronald, Bethesda, Md.; a daughter Diane Wiese, Minneapolis, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Edward Johnsen, Denver, Colorado. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at Wood Chapel in Seward, the Rev. L. W. Heidemann officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Seward.
