His death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on June 17, 1978, following several months of failing health, at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 12 days. His entire lifetime was spent in Hamilton County. He received his education in the school near his parents home and later attended Fremont College at Fremont for two years. At an early age he was baptized and later confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg and was an active member of that congregation as long as his health permitted. On February 24, 1928 he was united in marriage to Mary Petersen at Lincoln. They farmed in the vicinity of Kronborg for many years and after their retirement, continued to reside on the farm. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Erhart, Hans and Peter Hoegh, one infant sister and one grandchild in infancy. His survivors include his wife; one son, Albert Hoegh, Jr. of Aurora, Colorado; one daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Baker of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.
