Funeral services for Mr. Kuch were held Monday afternoon, Dec. 18, in the First United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Sherwood Roser officiated. Mrs. George Meyer and Mrs. Thomas Williams provided the music with Mrs. Dorothy McCarty at the organ. Casket bearers were Orval Faas, Henry Faas, Frank Morgan, George Morgan, Leslie Oliver and Will Morgan. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Harold Martin, Mrs. Alfred Klever and Mrs. Thomas J. Jones were in charge of the flowers. Albert J. Kuch was born in Woonsocket, SD, Jan. 11, 1889. His parents were John and Olga Romberg Kuch. At an early age, with his parents, he moved to Williamsburg, where, in later years, farming was his occupation. He was also a livestock buyer. On Dec. 4, 1912, he was married to Maude Keil at Genoa Bluffs. The home was made on a farm five miles southwest of Williamsburg. Later they moved to town. Mrs. Kuch died Apr. 10, 1945. On Sept. 1946 he married Mrs. Ethel Bean of Williamsburg. Mr. Kuch was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Carl J. and Roy Earl, and two sisters, Bertha and Mrs. Earl O. Jones. Besides his widow he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marcus (Melba) O'Donnell of Williamsburg; one step-daughter, Mrs. John Van Fossen of Cedar Rapids; one stepson, Leo J. Bean of Houston, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Thomas and Mary Kuch of Williamsburg and Martha Kuch of Long Beach, Calif. Other survivors are two grandchildren, Mrs. Jack Stiles, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Thomas Hockaday of Cedar Rapids. There are three great grandchildren.
