Mr. Klingler was born October 22, 1871 (sic) at Donnellson, Iowa where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Florence Isabelle Pickard September 30, 1900. To this union was born two children, Herman and Melvin. The family moved to Grand Island in 1910, then to Holt County in 1912 where Mr. Klingler lived until retiring to O'Neill in 19941 and where he has since made his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Isabelle and his son, Herman who passed away January 21 of this year. He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Melvin, a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Klingler was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Atkinson and a long time member of the IOOF Lodge in O'Neill.
