Description	:	Obituary from "The Alton Democrat," dated Friday, September 4, 1942, page 3: "ALBERT KOSTER - For several years, a resident of Hospers and the surrounding communities, passed away at his home Monday evening about 10:30, August 24. Burial in Alton. He was born January 6, 1872, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jan Koster, of Drenthe, Netherlands. He had reached the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 18 days. Burial in Alton. He was born January 6, 1872, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jan Koster, of Drenthe, Netherlands. He had reached the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 18 days. In August 1903 he was united in married with Miss Fannie Vollink at Archer. He resided in the Archer and Sheldon communities before coming to Hospers. Mr. and Mrs. Koster were the parents of six children, three of which died in infancy. The three children left to mourn his departure are: Alice (Mrs. Harry TeGrootenhuis), Tena Koster, and John Koster. Also three grandchildren and two brothers; Charles Koster, of Everett, Washington, and John Koster, of Sheldon."
