Description	:	From Nevada Journal October 24, 1959 Graveside services will be held in the Nevada Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. for Albert M. (Ab) Andersen, 61, executive president of the Reuben H. Donnelley Corporation. Andersen, a native of Nevada, died yesterday at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital after an extended illness. He had spent 37 years with the company. Read More	From Nevada Journal October 24, 1959 Graveside services will be held in the Nevada Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. for Albert M. (Ab) Andersen, 61, executive president of the Reuben H. Donnelley Corporation. Andersen, a native of Nevada, died yesterday at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital after an extended illness. He had spent 37 years with the company. Andersen was born in Nevada, attending schools here and at Carthage College in Carthage, Illinois. He stated his business career as a list salesman with the M. & F Mailing System Company of Nevada, Iowa, while attending college and continued with them until 1922 when the firm was sold to The Reuben H. Connelley Corporation. Andersen joint the Donnelley company and after serving as branch manager in Atlanta Georgia, and account executive on national accounts in Chicago, he was named sales manager, direct mail division and executive vice president in 1952. Andersen was a director in the Mail Advertising Club of Chicago, the Associated Third Class Mail Users, the Chicago Area Project and The Reuben H. Donnelley Corporation. He also held a trusteeship in the Glenwood School for Boys. He was a member of the Committee on Third Class Mail and on the Advisory Council on Postal Affairs of the Senate Post Office and Civil Service Commission. He also maintained memberships in the Premium Advertising Association of America, the Direct Mail Advertising Association, the National Council on Business Mail, the Business Mail Foundation, the Chicago Federated Advertising Club, the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, the Chicago Athletic Association, the Flossmour American Legion Post and Flossmoor Country Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Jo Smith, one daughter Karin,; his mother, Mrs. H. F. Anderson of Nevada; a brother, Kermit J. Anderson of Nevada; and two sisters, Mrs. W. W. (Mollie) Purcell of Memphis, Tenn. and Mrs. J. (Freda) Bishop of Des Moines. Funeral services will be at the Community Church in Flossmoor, Ill. at 2 p.m. Friday, followed by graveside services in Nevada Saturday. The Rev. E. P. Windman will officiate.
