Description	:	Albert R. James, 54, of Clay Center died early this morning at the Clay County Hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb 10, 1906 to Mrs. Edna James and the late Albert H. James, in Exeter Township, Clay County. He attended county schools and was graduated from the Clay County Community High School. He attended college at Manhattan for one year. Read More	Albert R. James, 54, of Clay Center died early this morning at the Clay County Hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb 10, 1906 to Mrs. Edna James and the late Albert H. James, in Exeter Township, Clay County. He attended county schools and was graduated from the Clay County Community High School. He attended college at Manhattan for one year. Albert James and Jessie Barclay were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1930 in Clay County. For 11 years he ran the Ladysmith Store and since that time he has been engaged in farming. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Clay Center and until ill health prevented him from continuing he served as a member of the board of directors of the Farmers Union Association. The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jessie James, a son, Veryl James and a daughter, Alive James, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Albert H. James of Clay Center; a brother, Raymond James of Clay Center and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning beginning with a prayer at 10;15 in the Peterson-Neill Chapel and at 10:30, in the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Howard Von Schriltz officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Respect calls may be made Tuesday evening form 7 to 8:30 at the funeral parlors.
