Description	:	RAINELLE - Albert Shedrick Ramsey, 89, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 at the home of his long-term caregiver and son, Michael in Rainelle. Born July 19,1916 in Fayette County, he was the son of the late James and Lula Ennis Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey was a disabled coal miner and a member of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Born July 19,1916 in Fayette County, he was the son of the late James and Lula Ennis Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey was a disabled coal miner and a member of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Rose Adkins Ramsey; eight daughters, Shirley Shook of Daytona Beach, Fla., Eloise Jarvis of Daytona Beach, Patricia Hatfield of Danese, Carl Midkiff of Meadow Bridge, Shelvia Meadows of Shady Springs, June Clark of North Carolina, Cheryl Lester of Danese and Carolyn Smith of South Carolina; six sons, Allen Ramsey of Danese, Larry Ramsey of Danese, James Ramsey of Beckley, Michael Ramsey of Rainelle, Greg Ramsey of Danese and Ira Prather, Jr. of Meadow Bridge; 27 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Services will be 1pm Saturday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with Bishop Clarence Toney and Pastor Ray Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Ennis Cemetery, Red Springs.
