Description	:	Albert W."Ab"Hunter,94,of Kingsley passed away,Tuesday,Feb.10,at a Sioux City Hospital.Services will be 2p.m.Friday at Kingsley United Methodist Church with Rev.Paul Evans officiating.Burial will be in Grand Meadow Cemetery in rural Washta,Iowa.Albert Wesley was born May 13,1909,in Washta,Iowa,to Albert and Mary Hunter.He graduated from Washta High School in 1927.Following his education,he worked for Central Telephone Co.in northwest Iowa.In 1929 he married Dorothy Barkley in Homer,Neb.He later drove a school bus in Grand Meadow area.In 1942,the family moved to Belmond,Iowa,where he resumed his work with Central Telephone Co.In 1948,he was transferred to Kingsley,wheere he was local manager of the telephone co.until retirement in... Read More	Albert W."Ab"Hunter,94,of Kingsley passed away,Tuesday,Feb.10,at a Sioux City Hospital.Services will be 2p.m.Friday at Kingsley United Methodist Church with Rev.Paul Evans officiating.Burial will be in Grand Meadow Cemetery in rural Washta,Iowa.Albert Wesley was born May 13,1909,in Washta,Iowa,to Albert and Mary Hunter.He graduated from Washta High School in 1927.Following his education,he worked for Central Telephone Co.in northwest Iowa.In 1929 he married Dorothy Barkley in Homer,Neb.He later drove a school bus in Grand Meadow area.In 1942,the family moved to Belmond,Iowa,where he resumed his work with Central Telephone Co.In 1948,he was transferred to Kingsley,wheere he was local manager of the telephone co.until retirement in 1974.He moved to the Kingsley Nursing and Rahab Center on Nov.14,2000.He was a member of Kingsley Unitedd Methodist Church.He was blessed with a wonderful singing voice and preformed solos on several occasions.At the nursing home he enjoyed listening to the Big Band Music with fellow residents.He also was skilled woodworker and crafted 75 grandfather clocks that ae spread throughout the country.The couple enjoyed spending the winter months in Tempe,Ariz.Survivors include,a son Ronald W.Hunter of Omaha,Neb.;a daughter Janice & husband Jim Beal of Strawberry,Ariz.;12 grandchildren,Mark,Stev,Ron,Tom and Heather Hunter,Ann Thariani,Kenneth Anderson Jr.,Mitchell,Cameron and Dennis Anderson,Traci Stewart and Kristin Weaver.He preceded in death by his beloved wife,Dorothy on April 2,1998;his parents;two sisters;two brothers.
