She was born July 20, 1934, in Ottumwa to Paul Henry and Ida Josephine Ruby McElroy. She was an employee of Everco. She married Harry Joseph Owens Oct. 24, 1962. Owens, 51, of Ottumwa Route 6 who died at 1:35 p.m. June 23, 1986, at the Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Garry Shepherd of the Valley Faith Foursquare Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Dennis and Gary Zellars Jr., Jerry and Jeff Shipley, John Lapoint and Roger Hunt.
