Mrs. Forbes was born February 10, 1901, in Louisa County, a daughter of James and Mary {Hosek} Dvorak. She married Ray Forbes November 6, 1923 in Lone Tree. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary, and the United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons; Wilbur and LeRoy, both of Lone Tree; five grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Dvorak of Riverside; and two sisters, Nora {Mrs. Raymond} Lorack and Helen {Mrs. James} Swailes, both of Lone Tree. Her parents and husband died earlier.
