Aman, of 328 Flora St., passed away yesterday morning in a Stockton hospital, after a long illness. Mrs. Aman was 72 years of age. Born in Russia, Mrs. Aman came to Eureka, South Dakota, as a girl of nine years. At 19, she was married to the late Jacob Aman, who preceded her in death in 1937. Aman, of 328 Flora St., passed away yesterday morning in a Stockton hospital, after a long illness. Mrs. Aman was 72 years of age. Born in Russia, Mrs. Aman came to Eureka, South Dakota, as a girl of nine years. At 19, she was married to the late Jacob Aman, who preceded her in death in 1937. She made her home for 40 years in Lehr, North Dakota, where all her children were born. Six years ago she moved to Lodi. Mrs. Aman is survived by 11 children. They are Jacob Aman, Allendale, ND; Mrs. Gottlieb Waltz of Fredonia, ND; John Aman, Ashley, ND; Edward Aman of Lehr, ND; Edwin Aman, Seattle, WA; Benjamin Aman, Port Townsend, WA; Theobald Aman, Mrs. Edwin Weintz, Otto Aman and Mrs. Leo Hauck, all of Lodi; and Mrs. Wilbert Hauck of Stockton. The deceased was the sister of Otto Frey of Canada; Andrew Frey of Ashley, ND and Eva Pfeifle of Lodi. Two daughters, the late Anna Aman and Mrs. Lydia Rugland, both of North Dakota preceded Mrs. Aman in death. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday morning from the Emanuel American Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. E. J. Roleder will officiate. The body will be sent to Ashley, North Dakota for interment in the family plot in the Ashley Cemetery.
