She was born on June 17, 1921, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Basil Roscoe and Virda Shenk Rowe. On March 6, 1948, she married Milton Allen Getz, who died on Oct. 20, 1998. Mrs. Getz retired from the American Viscose Corporation in Front Royal and was a member of the Luray Christian Church. She was preceded in death by a brother Carroll Fisher Rowe, who died in 1952.
