Read More	Aldo Michael Santi, 79, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Arkansas. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Madrid. He was born March 25, 1924 in Madrid, IA, the son of Guisseppi and Albina Ugolini Santi. Aldo was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Madrid. He worked and retired from John Deere Des Moines Works after 31 years of service. After retiring, he moved to Rogers, AR where he continued to work part-time at various jobs until his death. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1978, after moving from Iowa. He loved fishing and his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Laura Santi; several brothers and sisters; and one son, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Alice Santi, of the home, whom he married December 6, 1974 in Des Moines; four sons, Roger Santi and his wife, Cheri of Ankeny, Ron Hupp and his wife, Diana of Oklahoma City, OK, Jim Hupp and his wife, Diane of Montclair, CA and Gary Hupp and his wife, Janet of Belleview, FL; two daughters, Judy Kephart and her husband, Richard of Winterset and Joan Winters and her husband, Tom of Winterset; one brother, Dario Santi of Pompano Beach, FL: 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
