Westhoff, 86, of rural Girard died at 6:47 AM. Thursday, Feb. 8, 1996, at the Heritage nursing home, Girard, where she had resided since April 26. 1995. She was born Aug. 6, 1909, at Greenbush to Andrew and Emma (Gust) Davied. She attended school at Greenbush. She married Clarence Joseph Westhoff Nov. 6, 1934. They lived ans farmed in rural Greenbush. He died Nov. 1, 1971. Mrs. Westhoff was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Greenbush before the church closed. She moved her membership to the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Girard. She was a member of the St. Michael's Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabella at St. Francis Catholic Church at St. Paul. Survivors include a son, Kenneth of Walnut; two daughters, Doris Franklin of Farlington and Carolyn Westhoff of Pittsburg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anastacia Butler of Girard. She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Westhoff in 1946, three brothers and two sisters. The service will be at 10:30 AM. Saturday at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Girard with the Rev. Donald Thissen officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery at Greenbush. The Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be said at 3:30 PM. today, the parish rosary will be recited at 7 PM. followed immediately by the Altar Society rosary, all at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Girard. The family suggests memorials to the St. Aloysius Cemetery at Greenbush.
