Description	:	OBIT: Alexander Adolph Huppert, 66, of Sunnyside, a former Ellensburg resident, died at the Ellensburg General Hospital Saturday afternoon. The family lived in Ellensburg from 1935 until two years ago. The son of Mathias J. Huppert and Magdaline Steigler, Huppert was born at Ellsworth, Wisconsin, August 28, 1881. The family lived in Ellensburg from 1935 until two years ago. The son of Mathias J. Huppert and Magdaline Steigler, Huppert was born at Ellsworth, Wisconsin, August 28, 1881. He attended the Sisters School at Big River, Wisconsin and took engineer's training on the Burlington Railroad. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Murphy of Prescott, Wisconsin, February 7, 1905. They moved to Halbrite, Saskatchewan, Canada, homesteaded there for four years, and then moved to Terry, Montana. Later they homesteaded near Mildred, Montana. Seven children were born to this marriage, three preceding their father in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jay Blazek, Forsyth, Montana, and Mrs. Ed Brummer, Grangeville, Idaho, and two sons, Gerald J. Huppert, Grangeville, Wallace M. Huppert, Ellensburg. In 1922 Huppert was married to Elizabeth Brummer of Plevna, Montana, who survives him. They lived in Plevna until they moved to Ellensburg in 1935. To this marriage six children were born. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stewart Cummins, Portland, and four sons, Paul Huppert, Seattle; Leo Huppert, Ellensburg, and Mathias and Ambrose Huppert, Sunnyside. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother, John N. Huppert, Red Wing, Minnesota, and three sisters, Mrs. John Murphy, Prescott, Wisconsin, Mrs. Emil Krier, Defiance, Iowa, and Mrs. Mark Markeson, Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Andrews' Catholic Church. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers are Clyde Surver, Maurice Wippel, Frank Oechsner, Sr., Joe Brezden, Jack O'Neil and Harold Wales. Ellensburg Capital, July 16, 1948
