Description	:	Alexander, the four and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Duncan, 728 Division street, was instantly killed Sunday afternoon. During the first storm of the afternoon a high tension wire of the Iowa Railway and Light Company was broken, presumably by a falling limb from a tree on the John D. Moore property nearby. It was a 2300 volt wire. After the storm passed the young boy went out to play and wandered into the Moore lot and seeing the wire hanging among the trees took hold of it. Death was instantaneous.... Everything possible was done to resuscitate him, but to no avail. Funeral services were held in the Sacred Heart church at 9:00 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial in the Catholic cemetery.
