Senator Miller requested that his remains be cremated and his wishes were carried out. The ashes arrived here some time ago and were placed in possession of Undertaker Lobban, as the family did not wish anyone to know the ashes were here nor did they desire it known that they would be buried here. The ashes were enclosed in a copper box about 8 inches square, and this box Undertaker Lobban enclosed in a stout wooden box, carrying the ashes in the outside coverings to the cemetery. There were present at the ceremony the widow, Mrs Geo Argabite of Lewisburg, sister of the deceased, and her daughter Rose, Miss Bettie Alderson and Mrs Nora Pack, half-sisters of the deceased, Miss Maggie Alley and Mrs Wm Alcott.
