Description	:	Alexis Foreman was born in Pike county, Illinois, on August 10, 1849, and he died in Omaha, March 31, 1918, being at the time of his death, 68 years, 7 months and 21 days of age. When he was three years old his parents moved to Jones county, Iowa, where he grew to manhood. On January 1, 1872, he was married to Miss Mary Munsinger and to this union six sons were born, five of whom survive. The other son, John Clarence, preceding his father in death about fourteen years. Read More	Alexis Foreman was born in Pike county, Illinois, on August 10, 1849, and he died in Omaha, March 31, 1918, being at the time of his death, 68 years, 7 months and 21 days of age. When he was three years old his parents moved to Jones county, Iowa, where he grew to manhood. On January 1, 1872, he was married to Miss Mary Munsinger and to this union six sons were born, five of whom survive. The other son, John Clarence, preceding his father in death about fourteen years. Mr. Foreman came to Nebraska in the spring of 1881 and with the exception of a few years spent in Iowa, he has made his home in this state. While in Iowa last fall, he took sick and was taken to the hospital at Anamosa, and later he was brought to the Methodist hospital at Omaha, where he passed away on Easter Sunday at 6:30 p.m. He leaves besides his wife and five sons, Leighton E. and Arthur of Creston, Nebraska; George O and Alton of Albion and C. M. of Blair, Nebraska; are two brothers and two sisters. They are Rev. L. Foreman of Ainsworth, James Foreman of California, Mrs. Mary Graft of California and Mrs. Chloe Sherard of Des Moines. The body was brought here for interment Monday and funeral services were held from the Baptist church on Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Chauncey Foreman, son of the deceased.
