He was united in marriage to his wife Carol Clark on September 10, 1960 at York, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of 6 children, five sons and one daughter. Fred was a long time employee of Hastings Industries beginning his career in 1959 and retiring in 1995. Fred was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Husker football fan. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Carol of Aye (sic), NE. Sons: Barry Jeffs of Kearney, NE; Brad Jeffs of Cookville, TN; Ben Jeffs of Minden, NE; Brandon Jeffs of Nelson, NE; Daughter Barb Jeffs of Albuquerque, NM; 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.
