Description	:	Alfred Clyde Barr was born May 24, 1887 on a farm 4 and 1/2 miles northwest of Pilger and died Jan. 3, 1919 at the age of 31 years 7 months and 9 days. "By occupation he was a farmer and he was engaged in this business at the time of his death. He was the son of James Barr and Mary Jane Barr, who preceded him to the other world, when he was but a small boy. He was married to Anna Wax, February 22, 1910. The children are Elwayne Dwayne aged 6, Vonley Dwight aged 4, Dale Jerome aged 2 and Lorraine Dorothy, 11 months old. Beside these he leaves three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Wax, Sadie J. Barr and Mrs. Ella Martin all of Plainview, and two brothers, Geo. W. Barr of Plainview and Joseph Barr of Foster." Burial took place at the Stanton cemetery.
