Read More	Bluffton, Indiana Evening News Friday, January 03, 1919 - P3C3 Obituary Adelbert [sic Alfred Delburt] Williams, a son of Amos R. and Mary Ann (Kirkwood) Williams, was born in Nottingham township, Wells county, Indiana, Sept. 15, 1885. Departed this life Dec. 28, 1918, being aged 38 years, 3 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage with Miss Bertha Leora Lockwood, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Lockwood, on August 30, 1912. To this union were born three children, Robert Dale, Kenneth Earl, and Wanda Maxine. Mr. Williams was born and raised on his father's farm in Nottingham township, and at the time of his death he owned a farm near Parma, Missouri, and lived there for several years. Several years ago, under the pastorate of Rev. S. F. Harter, he was converted to God and united with the M. E. church at Airline. He ever lived in the faith he had espoused. He was very patient through all his affliction, never complained, and said to his companion, when speaking about his future hope: "I don't know any reason why I'm not ready to meet death." He like Mary of old, "had chosen the good part that shall not be taken away from him," He leaves to mourn on this, the weeping side of the narrow stream that separates heaven and earth, life and death, time and eternity, the grief-stricken wife and three children, a father, mother, three brothers and three sisters, William Williams, of Parma, Missouri; Clem and Samuel, of near Petroleum, Ind.; Mrs. Verna Blackledge, of Oakland, Cal.; Mrs. Pearl Fischer, of Chicago; Miss Anna Williams, at home; with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Airline M. E. church, Jan. 1, 1919, at 10 o'clock by the writer, in the presence of a large concourse of sympathizing friends and neighbors, assisted by Rev. B. F.
