Mr. Demanett was born Dec. 17, 1924, at Aurora. He was a farmer and had worked for the railroad, a box factory and Boogarts for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loma. M.; and a son, Paul. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Baptist Church, Concordia, the Rev. Dennis Knapp officiating. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery, Huscher. Memorials may be made to Ottawa County Live Wires 4-H Club. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday
