Description	:	Obituary Alfred Petersen died at the home of his parents, in Dannevirke, Friday evening, September 22cnd, 1916, at the age of 13 years and 9 days, acute appendicitis being the cause of his death. Alfred was born in St. Libory and it was there he resided until last spring when the C.P. Petersen family removed to Dannevirke, where they are now engaged in the mercantile business. Read More	Obituary Alfred Petersen died at the home of his parents, in Dannevirke, Friday evening, September 22cnd, 1916, at the age of 13 years and 9 days, acute appendicitis being the cause of his death. Alfred was born in St. Libory and it was there he resided until last spring when the C.P. Petersen family removed to Dannevirke, where they are now engaged in the mercantile business. Alfred was a bright young man and it is too bad such a young lad with a life full of promise before him should be called to his heavenly home. Acute appendicitis set in and it was impossible to attempt an operation and death resulted. The funeral was held Sunday, Rev. Nielsen of Elba conducting the services at the home in Dannevirke and later at Dannebrog, Rev J. Chr. Pedersen conducted the last services over his remains after which they were laid to rest in the Dannebrog Cemetery. The Phonograph desires to extend sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family in their sorrow and pain in the loss of their bright young son. CARD OF THANKS We desire to take this method of extending our sincere thanks to the many friends and neighbors for their kindly assistance and sympathy during the illness and after the death of our beloved son.
