Description	:	Alfred L. (Muckle) Knotts, 71, Summitville, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Knotts was born November 22, 1889, in Summitville. He was a veteran of WW I. He was a life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Anderson and a member of the Eagles Lodge at Alexandria. He had been employed for a number of years at the Studebaker Corp. plant in South Bend and later worked at the John-Manville corp. plant in Alexandria. Friends will be received after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ewing Funeral Home in Summitville. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nutter Hughes of Alexandria officiating. Burial will be in the Vinson Memorial Cemetery at Summitville.
